KILIMANDJARO MUSIC AWARDS

Kilimandjaro Music Awards (KMA) is the largest Black Music Awards event in Canada celebrating the annual achievement of Black musicians and Afro-descendant music industry stakeholders.

KILIMANDJARO MUSIC FEST

Kilimandjaro Music Fest (KMF) offers Afro-descendant artists a professional stage for Live Performances, a space for Black Arts, cultural exposition and exchange in a vibrant 2-day Festival ambiance each Summer in a city in Ontario!

Training & Mentorship

Kilimandjaro Productions offers year-round trainings, Masterclasses and Mentorship in media productions, Broadcasting and Artificial intelligence.

Artist Residencies

Kilimandjaro Productions offers year-round artistic residencies and trainings, professional workshops on black music instruments, as well as networking events to foster professional artistic development and collaboration.

ABOUT US

Kilimandjaro Productions is an Ontario-based non-profit organization dedicated to serving Black communities through performing arts, culture, and media.

Incorporated in 2022, our primary mission is to address systemic underrepresentation and enhance the promotion of Afro-descendant artists and musicians within the Canadian Arts and Culture industry.

Through creative programming, media platforms, and community partnerships, we empower creators to achieve greater visibility, recognition, and professional growth.

Our Core Activities:

  • Kilimandjaro Visual Radio: Dedicated broadcasts of 100% Afro-Caribbean music, cultural discussions, and podcasts.

  • Kilimandjaro Music Fest (KMF): A vibrant 2-day summer festival in Ontario, providing a professional stage for live performances and cultural exchange.

  • Kilimandjaro Music Awards (KMA): Canada’s largest Black music awards event, held annually in Toronto to celebrate the achievements of musicians and industry leaders.

  • Professional Development: Year-round artistic residencies, workshops on music instruments, and networking events to foster collaboration.
